Hardwork and Excellency is an outstanding phenomenon that needs to be applauded and well celebrated across the globe


As part of our commitment to appreciate hardworking individuals in West Africa, who have achieved success and impacted positively on our lives, West African Citizens Awards has decided to continue its quest in encouraging outstanding personalities who deserve some accolades.

The first nomination process for this award initiatives began in June 2017 and the Grand finale was held on September 17 2017. Martina Brooks, Beambor Taylor, Lateef Adedimeji, KKC, Otunba Rafiu Olugbeminiyi, Funke Akindele amongst others made up the numbers who bagged awards in different categories in the first edition of West African Citizens Awards 2017 edition.

However, 2018 edition promises to be more exciting as dedicated individuals across West Africa would be duly celebrated. The registration/nomination process for people across West Africa to suggest names of hardworking individuals or apply for any category is already underway.

The deadline for registration/nomination is slated for May 31st 2018, and all entries for each category must be sent before the the stipulated date. For no reason will the organisers of this award ceremony be biased or partial, but will duly operate based on the consensus reached.
